Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi

After all the time you've spent planning and dreaming about going on safari, this is where it finally starts. Your guide will meet you and explain everything you need to know and answer any questions you might have. And then we'll go out on safari together.

There's so much for you to enjoy in Nairobi. Everyone who comes here loves the city's museums, its national park and other wildlife attractions, but Nairobi also has terrific restaurants, nightlife, accommodation and shopping. It's all part of the fun of visiting this dynamic country and will provide you with so many unforgettable windows on modern life in Kenya.

Day 2 - Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is sure to be one of the highlights of your safari in Kenya. For a start, you'll almost certainly see rhinos (both black and white), lions (including rare tree-climbing lions) and endangered Rothschild's giraffes (which have very pale markings below their knees). Watch also for flamingo, leopard and plenty of birds, all set against a beautiful backdrop of acacia forest, lake and escarpment.

Get to know Lake Nakuru National Park on a guided game drive. We'll take you out in a safari vehicle with an expert guide to go looking for the park's lions, rhinos, flamingos and more.

Day 3 - 4 Masai Mara National Reserve

Big cats are sure to be a highlight of your time in the Masai Mara, with lions, leopards and cheetahs all commonly seen stalking prey on the Masai Mara's savannah grasslands. Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and hyenas are also often seen here, sometimes in front of a background of flat-topped acacia trees. Impalas are everywhere. Bird-watchers will also love the chance to see more than 500 bird species.

Activity Day 3
➔Join us for a guided game drive through the Masai Mara where your guide will help you try and find the Mara's big cats, elephants, zebras, giraffes and wildebeest.

Activities Day 4
➔You'll be heading down more safari trails in search of animals in Masai Mara National Reserve when we take you on a guided game drive. This is the best thing about many safaris, and you'll hopefully see many animals.

Afternoon
➔ We'll take you to enjoy the sunset and a sundowner at one of our favorite places in Central Serengeti National Park.
➔ Transfer by road from Masai Mara National Reserve to Serengeti National Park

Day 5 & 6 -Central Serengeti National Park

When people dream of the Serengeti, it's probably the Central Serengeti they're dreaming of. That's because you're in the perfect place to see all that the Serengeti has to offer, and this is the area of the park where wildlife is present in the biggest numbers. It's also filled with acacia trees and those Serengeti horizons that seem to go on forever.

Activity Day 5
You never quite know what you'll see on your guided game drive in the Central Serengeti as your guide takes you through some of Tanzania's best wildlife country.

Activity Day 6 Morning till Afternoon
You'll be joining us in Central Serengeti National Park. Park for a guided game drive. It's a fantastic opportunity to see some of the animals you came so far to see.

Afternoon
In Central Serengeti National Park, you'll join us for a sundowner, that classic safari tradition of having a few drinks in a beautiful place while you watch the sunset.

Day 7 - Ngorongoro Crater

You’ll learn why magical Ngorongoro is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Cloud forests encircle the crater rim, and the view out across the caldera of this former volcano – quite apart from the altitude – will leave you gasping for air. Your drive down a steep trail carries you onto the crater floor where a unique wildlife offering is added to the sheer beauty of the experience. You’ll share the sunken ecosystem of the crater floor with hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos. An ecosystem that has formed in the crater in the millennia since the volcano wrought its terrible fury upon the land. It could just be one of your best safari days ever.

Activities
Your guided game drive down into and around Ngorongoro Crater, is one of the best safari experiences you can have in East Africa. Watch for lions, hyenas, black rhinos and more as you spend most of the day exploring the crater floor.

Day 8 - Tarangire National Park

We think you’ll be impressed with Tarangire National Park. Most visitors love the distinct shapes of the baobab trees silhouetted against the sky that make this place feel like a fairytale African landscape. Or visitors remember the elephants that roam in family bands everywhere throughout the park. If you’re lucky, you’ll also encounter the big cats – lions especially, but also cheetahs and leopards – that are always a possibility here. And there’s a fair degree of certainty that you will tick wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, buffalo and zebra off your wildlife-viewing list.

Come and see the best of Tarangire National Park as we take you out on a guided game drive. It really is a terrific way to feel a part of Africa with the wind in your hair as we drive you around to look for animals.

Day 9 - Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park will allow you to tick off so many unique safari highlights, including many that you just won’t find elsewhere. Unlike the elephants you’ll see in other parks, Lake Manyara’s inhabit dense forest – there’s nothing quite like your experience of an elephant suddenly emerging from behind the nearest tree. Also, you’re just as likely to see lions here draped along a branch high in a tree as down on the ground. And baboons. Lots of baboons. The views you’ll see here, too, persist in your memory long after you’ve returned home, thanks to the combination of lake, forest and sheer cliffs, all within just a few kilometres
